More about me...

I was drawn to become a Marriage and Family therapist through my own personal journey with therapy and experiencing firsthand the impact that support and guidance can have. Years of teaching dance to kids allowed me to connect with children in a meaningful way and helped me discover my passion for working with families. These experiences inspired me to pursue counseling and dedicate my work to helping others feel heard, empowered, and supported. I believe in the power of hope and the importance of developing a strong relationship with yourself and others.

I earned my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University. I am certified in EMDR from trauma and PREPARE/ENRICH for premarital counseling. I am specialized in play therapy for children and am working towards becoming a registered play therapist. I am an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently supervised by Summer Curwen, LMFT (License #1196). I also have a BFA in musical theater from the Boston Conservatory of Music and my background in the arts has allowed me to incorporate expressive arts into therapy for interested clients of all ages.

I work with children and families, as well as anyone dealing with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and life transitions (such as divorce/separation), and addressing family conflicts and communication barriers. I utilize other evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Experiential Therapy.

In my free time I enjoy going on hikes with my husband and our dog Chip. We love going to concerts and spending time with our friends and family. I love anything to do with flowers and curling up with a hot cup of coffee and a good fiction book.

Sometimes the only way out is to let someone in.
