Grad Counseling Process Group
This group provides a resource for those new clinicians, specifically practicum and intern student counselors, to process their experiences from their new roles as therapist. It is normal and common for the school program and sitting with clients to be emotionally disruptive. In fact, words like “countertransference” were coined to capture some of that.
Participating in a group with others in the same stage of their career while you work through all that gets stirred up can not only be relieving but also productive. It helps us be more available to ourselves and thus our clients.
This two-hour group meets weekly and has limited space. Free from any grades or judgment, this group allows new clinicians to examine and share themselves in the safety of a therapeutic setting. See details below for more information and how to reserve your spot.
