The snow is only meant, created, commanded to fall. The rain is only meant, created, commanded to pour down. You were only meant, created, commanded to be who you are, weird and wonderful, imperfect and messy and lovely.

I moved to Nashville in 2015 to pursue a nursing degree at Belmont University. I graduated in 2019 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have been working as a Registered Nurse for the last five years. While I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in nursing, my heart has always been drawn toward working with children in a greater capacity outside of the nursing field. It wasn’t until I pursued the opportunity to become a child therapist that my passion for helping individuals in the mental health field coupled with my longing to work with children felt so right.

I am currently earning my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy degree at Trevecca Nazarene University. I help clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, attachment issues and other mental health issues. I create space for clients to feel safe in working through various traumas. In my clinical work, I include clients’ support systems (e.g. parents) as resources to help clients navigate this complicated world with confidence and grace for both themselves and others.

When not doing therapy, I enjoy cinnamon rolls, a hot cup of coffee, and traveling to the beach with my loved ones!
