About Kassie Provost
Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.
O. Fred Donaldson
I love all facets of counseling and working with kiddos to help them work through the good, bad, and unknown. I have found a special calling to work with the younger generation and be a part of their development in becoming themselves. I have always been passionate about leaning on my inner child and communicating through play and the arts.
I am a student intern working towards my Master’s degree at Lipscomb University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, emphasizing Play Therapy. Previously, I received my bachelor’s in music and psychology at Florida State University. I have professional membership with both the American Counseling Association and the Association for Play Therapy. I'm supervised by Lipscomb faculty and by Summer Curwen (TN LMFT license #1196).
I also work in school systems to provide trauma-informed care and restorative practices to kiddos aged 4 to 18+. In my free time, I can be found weightlifting, coaching girls volleyball, traveling with my fiancé, or having a cozy night in with a book and my fat cat, Elliot.
