About Kassie Provost

Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.
O. Fred Donaldson
I’m dedicated to helping children, teens, and young adults navigate life’s twists and turns with empathy, creativity, and care. I’ve always believed in the power of play and expressive arts as transformative tools for growth and healing. Through my work, I strive to connect with the inner worlds of young people, guiding them as they discover their unique strengths and build resilience for the future.
Building on my experience in educational and community-based settings, I worked within school systems to provide trauma-informed care and implement restorative practices for kids and teens aged 4 to 18+. From my prior experiences working in tandem with college counseling centers and providing counseling services to their students, I have also discovered a love for working with young adults. Whether helping a child process big emotions or supporting a young adult through life’s challenges, I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients on their journey to self-discovery.
I have earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University, with a specialized focus on Play Therapy. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music and Psychology from Florida State University and am an active member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Play Therapy. I continue to build my expertise and work toward earning my license under the supervision of experienced professionals, including Summer Curwen, TN LMFT (License #1196).
When I’m not counseling, you can find me weightlifting, coaching girls' volleyball, or traveling to a new place to visit with my Fiancé. I’m also a bookworm who loves cozy nights in with my chunky cat, Elliot.
