The best way to find out whether you’re on the right path? Stop looking at the path.
Marcus Buckingham
I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in biology from Oakwood University. I am currently working towards my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Belmont University with the goal to afterwards pursue my medical degree concentrated in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. I am also a member of the Southeastern Psychological Association.

I have always found myself in the helping role. Whether in personal or professional settings and I am passionate about helping others blossom into their best selves. The quote I chose for this profile, though short, holds great wisdom because we as humans tend to overwhelm ourselves with standards of society and diminish our unique journey. As a counseling student intern, I help my clients find their own path to healing, connection and growth. I am supervised by Summer Curwen (TN LMFT license #1196).

Outside of school I am an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in the Pediatric Hospital of Vanderbilt. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dog Ollie. I love the beach and like hiking in the mountains whenever I can.
